Filmed entirely in Montana, this is the first official music video for CCR’s iconic song. Released during the 50th anniversary of their debut album, this coming-of-age narrative stars Sasha Frolova (“Little America”), Jack Quaid (“The Boys”), and Erin Moriarty (“The Boys”). I packaged the project, as well as directed, edited, and produced.

In 2025, the video surpassed 500 million views, making this CCR’s most watched content on their channel.

Originally, our music video started with a long narrative sequence. It featured vignettes that set up the character’s backstories. Even though these were cut from the final, we wanted to repurpose them and showcase their beauty. Here’s Evan (Jack Quaid) working on the farm, Alice (Erin Moriarty) eating supper, and Julia (Sasha Frolova) getting ready to leave her childhood home.
